Dr Oz Warns Ovarian Cancer Caused by High BMI
Women that are overweight and have a higher BMI are at risk for cancer, especially ovarian cancer. Cancer cells feed on excess belly fat, but women in good shape are not exempt from the risk of ovarian cancer. Doctors have seen that the progesterone in birth control pills can actually repair tears in the ovary and prevent cancer cells from growing. Women who have never given birth are also at a higher risk that those that have. I guess that’s good news for the Duggar wives, huh?
Dr Oz: Preventing Pancreatic Symptoms
Pancreatic cancer has taken too many precious lives, including Patrick Swayze and Steve Jobs. It’s the fastest attacking for of cancer and also one of the deadliest. The signs of pancreatic cancer can be confused and ignored, like back pain, weight loss, and nausea.
This fact may scare you into making healthier choices: two cans of soda or more per week puts you at a much high risk for pancreatic cancer. Of course, this makes me think that a lot of Americans drink soda on the regular, so how is this fact helpful? Dr Oz reveals that cutting out soda cuts your chances of pancreatic cancer by 87%. That’s crazy!
