Dr Oz Poll: 60% Living With Daily Pain
According to Dr Oz, 116 million Americans are in pain each day. He conducted a survey online and 60% said they experience pain every day, and 20% are in pain half the week. Of the complaints, 65% experience pain in the back, neck, shoulders and joints. Basically, America is one big ouchie.
So how should we handle this pain? Dr Oz has some solutions.
Dr Oz: Vitamin B12 Helps Nerve Pain
One of Dr Oz’s audience members said she had pain from her neck down to her hips. This, Dr Oz explained, is because the spinal column has nerves running up and down. When the nerves between the discs slip out of place, they become irritated. Pain feels like it’s shooting through your body.
Taking a B12 vitamin can help repair the coating around your nerves, just like the rubber around a bunch of wires. When that wears off, we feel pain.
Dr Oz: Capsaicin Nasal Spray for Headaches
Another solution Dr Oz favors is capsaicin. It’s the thing that gives chili peppers their heat, but when in a cream or spray can relieve pain. He likes capsaicin nasal spray for headaches and cream for pain around the body. It will most likely have a little heat to it, since it comes from peppers.
Dr Oz: Boswellia + Powdered Ginger For Joint Pain
Kelly told Dr Oz that she has pain in her knees that travels to her hips. Sometimes, she can’t even get out of bed. Dr Oz said that it’s because as we age the cushion between the bones wears down. The bones rub together and ouch.
First, Dr Oz wanted to us a boswellia extract. You can get 300 mg supplements at 40% concentrate. Take one a day.
The second step is powdered ginger. Taking half a teaspoon with tea, water, or lemonade in the morning will get rid in inflammation in the entire body!
Dr Oz: Arnica Supplement for Pain
Dr Oz’s next option for pain relief was Arnica, something he wants everyone to have in their medicine cabinets. Taking this all natural solution three times a week is the best solution for pain, he said. An Arnica Cream will help blood flow and bring oxygen to the part of the body that is aching. It’s also helpful for bruises.
