Dr Oz August 15 2013 Preview
On August 15 2013, Dr Oz is spending time talking about boosting your immune system, fighting cancer, and making healthy meals for your family. Just a normal Thursday. Dr John La Puma comes to the show to talk about bringing culinary and medical together to study how food can be used as medicine.
Plus, Dr Oz talks about some of the most common, annoying issues that women face today. Dandruff, eye boogers, and chaffing are all on the table on August 15.
Dr Oz: ChefMD Big Book of Culinary Medicine & Dr John La Puma Pumpkin Soup Recipe
On this episode, food is the medicine. What great news for foodies. Dr John La Puma practices culinary medicine. There are five foods that we should be eating everyday to boost our immunity. He has a pumpkin soup recipe that Dr Oz is putting up with his pumpkin puree recipe.
Also, learn why you should be marinating your meats! His honeyed Chinese chicken recipe has this girl’s stomach rumbling.
Dr Oz: Dandruff Solutions & Chafing Thigh Infections
This episode will also include all of the tips and tricks that women need to know. My favorite is Dr Oz’s chafing solution. As any curvy girl will tell you, chafing is a major reason that we cut back on wearing skirts and shorts. The red bumps and pain may have a cure though, and you already use it everyday!
To cut back on chafing, Dr Oz recommends putting antiperspirant on your thighs. When you get chafed, bacteria and fungi are apt to grow in the area, causing infection and pain. The antiperspirant will stop the sweating in the area and leave you with a smooth feeling. I’ve been using this trick since my friend taught it to me two years ago, and now I can enjoy late nights out in a cute skirt without worry.
