Dr Oz: Have You Had a Near Death Experience?
People joke about seeing the light and running away, but Dr Eben Alexander firmly believes that he has seen what is on the other side of this life. He floated over pink, fluffy clouds on a butterfly and wrote a book about it. Dr Jeffrey Alexander and Dr Oz are skeptics, naturally, so they are looking into how to recreate this moment.
Dr Jeffrey Long Binaural Beats Research
Dr Alexander said that Binaural Beats are an easy way to get the effects that he experienced, without almost dying. They help to free your consciousness and are used in a variety of medical practices. Basically, you are meditating while listening to sounds.
The way it works is Binaural Beats gives each of your ears a different sound. The brain takes the sounds and tries to combine them. This relaxes your brain and lets you explore the parts of your brain that are not usually conscious and that you never normally use. In order to try these, you must listen for 30 minutes a day.
Dr Oz: Binaural Beats Side Effects
Dr Oz has looked at the research and there are no positive or negative side effects to Binaural Beats. Since the brain is relaxing, I would get that you could use it for stress or headaches. The chances of floating on the back of a butterfly are pretty low.
Binaural Beats Review
In the name of journalism, I decided to try these Binaural Beats to see what the fuss was about. Some of them sound like a vacuum cleaner running while others were like an ocean and a pulsing techno sound.
The sounds were soothing, but didn’t give me any immediate effects. You really would need to listen for longer than the few minutes I did. If you need a white noise track to relax to, these would be great!
