Dr Oz: Magnesium Deficiency + Fatigue
Getting Magnesium into your diet could fix a lot of problems you are experiencing, first of all being fatigue. Are you just feeling tired for no reason, or unable to get to a state of balance? Dr Oz has the just the ticket.
The Problem With Magnesium Pills
While you may think that popping a Magnesium pill can solve your fatigue, it won’t. Dr Oz said that there isn’t a pill out there that contains enough Magnesium to get by on just supplements. The pill would be huge if it did.
The best way to get your magnesium is through the proper diet. Dr Oz asked three women in his audience if they got three, balanced meals a day. They each had their reasons for not getting three meals a day, but Dr Oz wasn’t pleased. He wanted to equip the ladies with simple foods that are easy to prepare in order to eat right and include Magnesium in the mix.
Dr Oz: Magnesium Rich Foods
On Dr Oz’s table were a bunch of different foods. He explained that you would have to east five items on the list, or one food five times, to get your Magnesium for the day.
- bananas (32 Mg of Magnesium)
- a cup of kidney beans (70 Mg of Magnesium)
- one cup of black beans (120 Mg of Magnesium)
- whole wheat bread ( 46 Mg of Magnesium)
- half a cup of boiled spinach (78 Mg of Magnesium)
Eating these foods, or others rich in Magnesium, will have you feeling healthier and less fatigued. Some of the women only wanted to eat one of the foods five times, while the other wanted to mix it up. There is no shame is loving bananas and wanting to eat them, but be careful. Magnesium isn’t the only thing these foods are rich in!
