Dr Olivia Rosenthal said that pain is a vicious circle. Your muscles spasm in pain, causing more pain, causing more spasms, and repeat. The best way to attack pain is at the root. Dr Rosenthal believes that the body can heal itself. In the meantime, you can use some of these all-natural pain relievers.
Dr Oz: Positional Release Therapy
Dr Oz said that positional release therapy is an ultimate solution to pain. You can stop your muscles from spasming and it only needs to be done once a week.
For example, if you have pain in your arm that is chronic, position release can be a good solution. Just find the most tender point, which shouldn’t be hard. Just press your finger in that spot and hold it there until the pain releases. It should take just about 90 seconds.
This mehtod has the muscles communicating with the spinal cord to tell the muscles to relax.
Dr Oz: Pencil Massage How To
Another way to do positional release is with a pencil. Find the tender point and push with the eraser into the spot. You can apply pressure or do a gentle circular motion for 60 seconds.
